This department has a vacancy for an Engineering manager for the core tool chain. The team will be based mainly in the UK and partly in the offshore development centre. Core responsabilities include: IDEs, compilers and debuggers.
To be successful in this role requires a good understanding of line management, software development, project management and most importantly to be a people person.
Key Tasks
Contribute to the strategy and deliver against it Attract, retain and motivate the best people in the business Build up succesfull relations with internal teams as well as our external partners Support the administrative framework required to deliver (such as resource planning, team meetings, etc.)
