Our client is a leading software house which requires an experienced Compiler Engineer to play a leading technical role within an expanding development team. You will be responsible for identifying, developing and delivering critical enhancements to compilers, particularly in the area of optimization, code generation and instruction scheduling. Ideally degree educated you will offer extensive experience of C/C++ and of developing compilers with a focus on back end technology with strong knowledge of microprocessor architectures. Knowledge of MIPS, PowerPC or ARM architectures would be desirable. You will most likely have previously worked in the chip manufacturing industry or the software tools market.
