Description
|
Work as a member of the growing LynuxWorks Tools development team to design, port, and implement feature enhancements to the GNU compiler toolchain targeting LynxOS, LynxOS-178, and BlueCat Linux.
Responsibilities include porting new versions of the GNU Toolchain to the various LynuxWorks Operating Systems, maintaining and supporting gcc, g++, gnat, and binutils, implmenting new features, and adding optimizations for embedded processors including PowerPC, Pentium, MIPS, and ARM/XScale.

Qualifications
|
Ideal candidates should have general knowledge of compiler technologies, with skills in code generation on modern architectures such as PowerPC, Pentium, MIPS, and ARM/XScale. Experience with UNIX, and proficiency in C, C++, make, and shell programming is mandatory. Experience with GNU tools, real-time operating systems, Windows XP, and assembly languages is a plus.
Experience porting and maintaing the GNU Toolchain is highly desirable!
A B.S/M.S in Computer Science, Math, or Electrical Engineering is required.
