Required skills and experience:
BS/BE/BTech in CS/EE is required, MS/ME is preferred. Minimum experience is 10+ years , 12+ years is preferred.
A significant part of this experience must be either in the U.S., or working for a well known international (e.g., U.S., European, Japanese) company in India, or working for an Indian company on projects for U.S. companies where those projects required direct and regular (e.g., weekly) interaction with the U.S. team. Experience in the U.S. and/or experience collaborating at a distance is critical.
The position requires an excellent hands-on technical manager with experience of working on complex software projects in C/C++/ Java. This position demands fluency in Java and C/C++ and experience in the development of software tools especially embedded system development tools. Exposure to processor architecture, hardware and VLSI implementation of processors or large ASIC would be preferred. Experience in developing Eclipse plug-ins and or CDT will be a big asset.
This position involves technical liaison with Tensilica R&D centre at Santa Calra, CA and requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.
