Job Description

Working within our Research and Development team, you have substantial design experience and/or you are a senior software developer with excellent team working skills. Bringing with you expert knowledge/understanding of the software development cycle and experience with standard software development environments, you will interface with the core development team, customer support, and QA. You will be responsible for contributing to the design and development of enhancements to Cloakware's suite of security tools for immediate customer projects.

Reporting to the Team Lead, you must have demonstrated experience with the following:
a minimum of 5 years of software development
C and Java in Windows and Linux environments.
Strong understanding of Compiler mechanics.
Experience with development environments (make, shell, CVS, Perl, Java IDEs) and projects with a large code base.
Familiarity with Compiler Transformations is an asset.
Familiarity with Software Protection and Security is an asset.
Experience with Cryptography and DRM systems is also an asset.
Implementation experience with the following languages and technologies: Java, C, C++, XML, Perl, make, assembly, shell.
Familiarity with modular software frameworks, revision control systems, and designing for multiple platforms (Windows, Linux, Mac)
An undergraduate degree in a relevant field (EE, CS) (a graduate degree is preferred)

Job Description:
This position provides an opportunity to learn and contribute to our proprietary compiler technology. This junior position will work closely with compiler and security experts in a team environment, to enhance our software core of tools and capabilities. Using their ability and drive to write high quality software, the ideal candidate will have written many programs, have had prior exposure to compilers and a keen passion to learning more compiler techniques and new software security techniques.

Working with others in the Compiler Team, you will take set projects from design to implementation, making the transition from security ideas all the way to realization. Working with our Compiler Technology team, you have substantial compiler design experience and/or you are a senior software developer with excellent team working skills. Bringing with you a strong theoretical background and proven skills in a development environment, you will work within the R&D Group and contribute to the designing and development of Cloakware's compiler core as well as other support products.

Reporting to the Team Lead of the Compiler Technology Team, you must have demonstrated experience with the following:
Minimum 5+ years of development experience (Java, C, C++, Perl, assembly, Java)
Compiler Intermediate Representations
Development of Compiler Transformation Phases
Analysis and Development of Optimizations
Data-Flow and Control-Flow Analyses
Interpretation of Language Semantics
Meta-Language Design and Compilation
Development of Internal Form Debugging Tools
Performance analysis of developed code
Automated testing methodologies
Experience with large software projects, modular software frameworks, revision control systems, and designing for multiple platforms (Windows, Linux, Mac)

Cloakware is seeking experienced Compiler Writers/Designers to joint their Core Technology Development Team.

This expert would be expected to contribute to the design and implementation of Cloakware's software transformation tools, working on standard infrastructure to non-standard constraint propagation.

Knowledge of Java, C++, Eiffel, Modula-3, or some similar object-oriented language, and good programming skill in Java/C are essential. Industry experience with middle and back-end related compiler projects is a must.

Preference is given to those with graduate degrees.
