Experience and education:
MS or PHD in computer science, electrical engineering or computer
engineering
5 years industry experience in compiler development if MS
Direct experience in the development of high performance
Instruction Level Parallel compiler (VLIW, EPIC, DSP)
Experience in developing and delivering large-scale software
systems
C++ or other object-oriented development experience
Desired Knowledge:
Direct experience with U. of Illinois IMPACT compiler, or with the
Trimaran compiler infrastructure
Experience with machine description driven or retargetable tool
chains
Experience in architecting a high performance ILP compiler from the
ground up
Experience with embedded computing toolchains
Toolchain interoperability, integration and development experience
(assembler, linker, loader, debugger)
Experience with profiling and profile-based optimization
Experience with Unix software development environment and scripting
Operating system/Run-Time System development or experience in
compiler/OS interaction
