Job Description Responsibilities: -Candidate will be responsible for Inter-operation with LINUX multi-media service/accelerator standards (OpenMAX and GStreamer etc.) -Working with open source bases like FFMPEG and LINUX as the chief source of most code for optimization -Optimization via compiler feature set or assembler coding when necessary -Generation of test benches and test cases for such software -Performance evaluation of hardware and embedded software
Qualifications Requirements: -Relevant degree in a related discipline such as electronics, electrical engineering or computer systems -3 to 5 years of experience in FFMPEG in the LINUX context, H264, MPEG-2 etc. -Should have strong grounding in 'C' -Experience of writing optimized code with respect to H/W DSP operations and/or working with compiler optimizations/extensions in C to the same end -Excellent oral and written communication skills
